St. Louis Captures Wild Card Thursday, September 29th , 2022 The St. Louis Lions certainly made things interesting. The PBC West Division club have battled to the bitter end and have come up with a wild card berth. "It's satisfying to clinch the playoffs so late in the season," said reliever Rafael Martinez. "You start to doubt yourself and wonder if you can even make it." But the Lions have in fact made it, with their 49-37 record holding up to now give them a chance at the franchise's 3rd Professional Baseball Circuit championship. |
