Tim Platt Out for Season Sunday, September 25th , 2022 The Houston Mavericks were dealt a blow today when first baseman Tim Platt left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Platt has suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Platt is currently batting .301 with 18 home runs, 52 RBIs and 50 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 296 at-bats. |
