Washington Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Friday, September 23rd , 2022 The Washington Warriors quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2022. "It feels bad," said Warriors starting pitcher Efrain Johnson, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Washington last appeared in the postseason in 2015. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Warriors have made the playoffs 5 times. Washington last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2012. |
