Hernandez Goes 5-for-6 Against Washington Wednesday, September 14th , 2022 Fans at Titans Fields got to see not only a home-team victory, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Toronto Titans outplayed the Washington Warriors en route to a 7-6 win, but the standout was right fielder Ricardo Hernandez. Hernandez netted 5 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Warriors manager Angel Sanchez said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Ricardo Hernandez singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Ramirez in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
