A newcomer to the league, Silva made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .588 average, 10 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBI. Where the Boston Shamrocks center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Silva certainly made his mark last week.
