Mainaky Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Tuesday, August 2nd , 2022 It was a downpour of hits for Cahya Mainaky at Sun Sox Stadium. The Miami Sun Sox second baseman tore into Dallas for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Sun Sox to a rain-delayed 12-0 victory. Dallas manager Jesus Sanchez bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Mainaky's big day. "He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Mainaky was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame." Cahya Mainaky singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Brad Dunn in the 8th.
