The club had shot a series of light-hearted commercials to promote their upcoming season, but they have now been pulled off the local network, as the club didn't feel they were resonating with fans. "It was fun while it lasted," said Jose Cruz. "I like my time as a TV star." Kevin Keeth, who was featured prominently in the commercials playing tricks on his teammates, said he was disappointed in the news.
