PBC Rookie of the Year Award Given Out Wednesday, November 9th , 2022 His rookie season has paid off well for John Thomas of the Titans. He has hit the jackpot. The 25-year-old second baseman topped off his fine first season with the 2022 Professional Baseball Circuit Rookie of the Year Award. It was a season to remember for the Titans newcomer. He wrapped up his inaugural year with a .307 batting average, 10 doubles, 1 triple and 9 home runs. Thomas also had 33 RBIs and scored 40 times. He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 24. Alfredo Zamarripa of the Philadelphia Keystones finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Roger McCrary of the Detroit Motors finished third with 1 first place vote.
