The Detroit Motors ignited a huge celebration as they beat the El Paso Diablos 13-10 to win the Pro Circuit Cup.

Detroit won the series 4-3, capturing the title for the 1st time.

"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Detroit manager Sean Morgan. "It's a great feeling."

The champs finished the regular season 52-36 and claimed second place in the PBC East Division.

In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and second baseman Blake Osburn said the Motors have "great fans and they deserve this."

"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
