In a crucial game, the Detroit Motors put on their best show, beating the El Paso Diablos by a final score of 7-6. Ajani Fears went 3-4 with 3 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Detroit and El Paso are now tied at 3 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.

Ryan Duff came through with a big-time hit for Detroit. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Duff.
