Roether Handcuffs Keystones, Diablos Seize 3-1 Advantage in CQ
The El Paso Diablos got an exceptional performance from starter Jason Roether, who silenced the Philadelphia offense en route to a 3-0 shutout win in Game 4 of the Cup Qualifier. The Keystones could never get a bead on the right-handed Roether, who threw 8.1 innings of shutout ball. The Diablos now hold a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

El Paso starter Jason Roether was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.

"Every team in baseball loses," Keystones manager Corey Anderson said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Keystones Stadium in Philadelphia.
