Langley, Knights Wallop Keystones in Game 3 of PIS
|
The Los Angeles Knights moved to within one game of the Cup Qualifier, downing the visiting Philadelphia Keystones at Camelot by a score of 9-2. Knights left fielder Adam Langley did some major damage. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2. The win gives the Knights a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Play-in Series.
In the bottom of the second, Los Angeles shortstop Jon Piotraschke had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Piotraschke stroked a grand slam home run to left-center. It made the score 5-1, Los Angeles. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
Keystones manager Corey Anderson did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Pro Circuit Cup."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Camelot in Los Angeles.
