Warriors Park was the site of a competitive game between the Washington Warriors and Miami Sun Sox.

The Miami Sun Sox knocked off the Washington Warriors, 5-3, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at Warriors Park. Miami pitcher and Holtsville, New York, native Kevin Keeth had an outstanding performance. In 8 innings, Keeth surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs.

Miami used the timely hitting of Ewald Pachman to capture the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sun Sox on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Kevin's as tough as he is talented," said Miami manager Barry Lolicht.

Washington, with the loss, is still a robust 7-3.
