The Detroit Motors snuck past the Atlanta Pilots, 5-4, in 11 innings. Detroit first baseman David Abeyta, in particular, had a standout performance. Michael Finney earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record is now 4-1. Detroit's winning streak has reached 5 games.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Abeyta hit a fastball from Jayden Barr for a run-scoring single. The Motors, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
