Kevin Schuerger pitched a gem in leading St. Louis to a 6-1 victory over the San Francisco Peanuts. The Lions bumped their record to 39-27 with this win.
St. Louis starter Kevin Schuerger showed the eye of a tiger. The right-hander allowed 1 run, while limiting San Francisco to 3 hits over 9 innings. He was tough to hit.
