The Philadelphia Keystones eked out a 2-1 win versus the Tampa Bay Thunder at The Thunder Bowl. Nobody did more than pitcher Brandon Beech. He was terrific. Billy Morris was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 15 save opportunities. With the victory, the Keystones upped their record to 35-26.
Philadelphia used a well-timed hit by Sam Hall to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Keystones ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I made good pitches, kept the ball out of the middle of the plate for the most part," said Beech.
