The Miami Sun Sox manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Chicago Union. The Sun Sox were overpowered by Chicago starter Jason Zierer, who hurled his club to victory, 5-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Barry Lolicht said.

Over 9 innings, Zierer blanked Miami on 6 hits with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Zierer said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

For the season, Zierer has logged 5 wins and 3 losses and struck out 85 batters in 89.1 innings while compiling a 2.92 ERA.
