Los Angeles Upended by San Francisco, 9-7
The San Francisco Peanuts defeated the Los Angeles Knights, 9-7, at Camelot. San Francisco right fielder Travis McCombs had a superb performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. San Francisco reliever Raquel Lobato picked up the win. Nick Jones, who finished 4th in the PBC in saves with 12 last year, took the loss for Los Angeles. Asvarya Kabir sewed up the save, his 1st.

San Francisco used a timely hit from Luis Lopez to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Peanuts ahead, 9-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said McCombs, "but we got it done."

With the loss, Los Angeles drops to 1-3.
