Miami (R)'s Hollweg Injured, Out of Lineup Friday, September 24th , 2021 When Marquart Hollweg was hurt against the Washington (R) Warriors, the Miami (R) Sun Sox were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hollweg would miss 9 months of the season. So far this season, Hollweg has a 3-2 won-lost record with 6 saves. He has made 36 relief appearances, logged 51.2 innings and fanned 72 batters while fashioning a 2.44 ERA and allowing the opposition a .208 batting average. |
