Super Swinger -- Saucedo Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, September 22nd , 2021 Eddie Saucedo was at the head of a Denver (R) hit parade at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The center fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Cutthroats to a nice 18-3 victory over the San Francisco (R) Peanuts. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Saucedo told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Peanuts skipper Sayf bin Imran said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Eddie Saucedo singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
