Miguel Martell Lost for Season Saturday, August 21st , 2021 Playoff hopes of Shamrocks player Miguel Martell have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Detroit (R) Motors. Martell is expected to miss up to 13 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. Checking out his season stats to date, Martell has 4 saves in 14 relief appearances.
