Tester Smacks 3 Out of the Park Tuesday, August 3rd , 2021 George Tester was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-6 Atlanta (R) Pilots triumph at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The 19-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Pilots past the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Tester told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The shortstop went 5-for-8, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. George Tester struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Manny Chavez in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Tim Powell in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, singled in the 13th and hit a solo-shot off David Bermudez in the 14th. This season, Tester is batting .442 with 7 home runs. He has scored 14 runs and driven in 12. |
