Washington (R)'s Elizalde Collects July Batting Honor Sunday, August 1st , 2021 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 19 Éric Elizalde has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Washington (R) Warriors star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .341 average with 14 home runs, 32 RBIs and 22 runs scored. This season, Elizalde is swinging the bat at a .287 pace. He has hit 17 home runs and scored 29 times, while driving in 42. His on-base percentage is .371 and he has played in 40 games. |
