Felix Fernandez Injured, Out for Season Thursday, July 22nd , 2021 The season is apparently over for Felix Fernandez. The Detroit (R) Motors medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 7 months with shoulder inflammation. Fernandez was hurt in the game against Houston (R) while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. On his stats sheet for the year Fernandez shows a 3-4 record, 9 starts, 43 innings, 37 strikeouts and a 7.12 ERA. |
