PBC Rookie Complex League Names Villalva Best Player Sunday, October 31st , 2021
The manager of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder said he thinks Ivan Villalva is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2021 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the PBC Rookie Complex League Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .372 batting average and a .473 on-base percentage this year. In 80 games he piled up 115 hits, 28 doubles, 5 triples, 13 home runs, 61 RBIs and 68 runs scored.
