September's #1 Hurler Announced: Painter Friday, October 1st , 2021 Dave Painter really put his best foot forward in September with 5 wins and no losses and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month honors in the PBC Rookie Complex League. When he got the start for the Los Angeles (R) Knights, it was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 39.1 innings of work, Painter limited opposing batters to 41 base hits and a .268 batting average. He notched 40 strikeouts, issued 10 walks and had a 1.60 ERA. In the current season in 12 starts, Dave Painter has a record of 7-0 with 59 strikeouts in 64.2 innings and a 2.64 ERA. |
