Bad News for Dallas (R), Ricky Naula Hurt Tuesday, September 28th , 2021 The doctors have spoken and Ricky Naula of the Dallas (R) Texans didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Naula sustained his season-ending injury during the Washington (R) Warriors game yesterday at PBC Rookie Development Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Dallas (R) medical staff reported Naula had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 16 months. This season, Naula has compiled a 5-9 mark, 5.47 ERA and made 24 starts. |
