Los Angeles (R)'s Menjivar Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, September 28th , 2021 The season is finished for Nicolas Menjivar of the Los Angeles (R) Knights. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Knights center fielder suffered a ruptured achilles tendon while running the bases in a recent game against the Las Vegas (R) Aces. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. This year, Menjivar is hitting .285 with 8 home runs and 39 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .390 clip and scored 31 runs. |
