Best WAC Reliever Named Monday, September 20th , 2021 The manager of the Tulsa Twisters said he always had confidence handing the ball to Vinny Valdivia out of the bullpen. The 27-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Tulsa and his efforts have been rewarded with the Western Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award for 2021. The bullpen ace had an impressive 2.49 ERA this season, with 10 saves in 38 relief appearances. He fanned 80 batters in 76 innings and sported a record of 10 wins and 3 losses. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Matt Tinsley of the El Paso Mavericks finished second in voting, while Chris Thomsen of the El Paso Mavericks finished third.
