Martinez Wins EAC Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2021 Victor Martinez is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Franklin right fielder joined that select company when the Eastern Amateur Circuit announced the results of August's voting. Martinez totaled 31 hits, 23 walks, 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 24 runs scored last month to put together a .333 batting average and .466 on-base percentage. In his 2021 season totals, Martinez has 18 home runs, .281 BA, .407 OBP, 72 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
