Atlantics Barrios Gone for Year Saturday, August 28th , 2021 The doctors have spoken and Mark Barrios of the Brooklyn Atlantics didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Barrios sustained his season-ending injury during the Oil City Oilers game yesterday at The Oil Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Brooklyn medical staff reported Barrios had a sore shoulder and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. |
