Bad News for Franklin, Tony Aguilar Hurt Sunday, August 22nd , 2021 Watching Tony Aguilar getting helped off the field today at Central Park, fans of the Franklin Knights feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 5-6 months with bone chips in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Aguilar suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Liberty. Aguilar has made 16 relief appearances this year and notched 2 saves. To date in 22.2 innings he has a 3-2 record, 3.57 ERA with 32 strikeouts and 11 walks. |
