Season-Ending Injury for Dustin Kirkman Tuesday, August 17th , 2021 Dustin Kirkman of the Arlington Stars was injured in today's game against Houston and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a stretched elbow ligament, and he is expected to be out for up to 10 months. It happened while Kirkman was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." On his stats sheet for the year Kirkman shows a 0-0 record, 1 starts, 12.1 innings, 10 strikeouts and a 1.46 ERA. |
