Cabrera Parks 3 HR in the Seats Monday, August 16th , 2021 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Tulsa Park buzzing, Tulsa Twisters first baseman Ruben Cabrera blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 22-6, over the Houston Apollos. "Everything was clicking," Cabrera told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Cabrera shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 7 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Twisters manager Travis Nichols said. "Ruben played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Ruben Cabrera flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Antonio Ortiz in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Antonio Ortiz in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Cuellar in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This season, Cabrera is hitting .295 with 38 home runs. |
