Williams Slams 5 Hits for Franklin Thursday, August 5th , 2021 Aaron Williams was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Ballpark of Franklin, the Franklin third baseman blistered the St. Petersburg Pelicans for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 16-4 victory. "Williams was too tough to get out," Pelicans skipper Jose Perez said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Aaron Williams doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Gaulton in the 5th and singled in the 6th.
