Brooklyn's Wheeler Out 9-10 Months Wednesday, August 4th , 2021 The season is finished for Dan Wheeler of the Brooklyn Atlantics. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Atlantics starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Long Beach Titans. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. This year, Wheeler has posted a 2-1 mark in 2 starts and has a 5.60 ERA. |
