Carranza Claims WAC Batter of the Month Award Sunday, August 1st , 2021 Antonio Carranza may be much younger than other hitters in the Western Amateur Circuit, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Albuquerque shortstop hit .337 with 9 home runs, 18 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Carranza is currently batting .255 with 16 home runs, 65 runs scored and 47 RBIs. His OBP is .351. |
