Season Over for John Candle in Manhattan Saturday, July 31st , 2021 The season is apparently over for John Candle. The Manhattan Liberty medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn meniscus. Candle was hurt in the game against Fort Wayne while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To this point in the season Candle has no wins and 3 losses and a 7.16 ERA. |
