Liberty Ka-pa Zhào to Miss Year Monday, July 12th , 2021 Ka-pa Zhào has to call it a season. The Manhattan Liberty reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Brooklyn Atlantics and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Zhào was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. Zhào has taken the mound for 8 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-0 record with a 1.91 ERA. The Manhattan reliever has limited opposing batters to a .175 batting average. |
