Patterson Slams 5 Hits for Yuma Saturday, July 3rd , 2021 It was a magical day at the plate for Yuma Gnomes third baseman Edgar Patterson. The 26-year-old Patterson helped lift Yuma to a win, 19-6, over the Hollywood Stars at Yuma Grounds. Patterson smacked 5 hits in 6 at-bats to spark his club. Edgar Patterson singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Kyle Mason in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Mario Wiesner in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th.
