Edgar Moran Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Thursday, June 3rd , 2021 The San Diego Aztecs learned that Edgar Moran is likely to be out for 11 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the New Orleans Buccaneers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the San Diego manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Edgar is back in action." This season, Moran has no saves in 4 relief appearances with a 1-3 record and 4.94 ERA. |
