Roussel Gone for Season in Providence Saturday, May 15th , 2021 When Josh Roussel was hurt against the Franklin Knights, the Providence Grays were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 26-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn meniscus throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Roussel would miss 4 months of the season. This year, Roussel has gone 0-1 with an ERA of 3.90 and has 33 strikeouts in 32.1 innings. |
