Futrell Rips Sherbrooke for 5 Hits Thursday, September 23rd , 2021 No matter what the Sherbrooke Canadians threw at him, Bill Futrell hit it. He easily handled Canadians pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Admirals triumph, 10-7, at Canadians Park. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Futrell's quip, Canadians skipper Matthew Kelly said he "would take him up on that next time." Bill Futrell doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Cesar Galvez in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Brian Farmer in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
