Colwill Is WSPC's #1 Rookie Friday, November 5th , 2021 James Colwill put together a sparkling rookie season to snag the Western Semi-Pro Circuit's Rookie of the Year Award for 2021. In 150 games, the Mexico City center fielder hit .286 with 172 hits, 22 home runs, 87 RBIs, 44 walks, 82 runs scored and a .342 on-base percentage. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Burt Sweeny of the Southern California Empires finished second in voting, while Dereje Amiri of the Saskatoon Moose finished third.
