R's Top Hitter Named Tuesday, September 1st , 2020 Bobby Berty may be much younger than other hitters in the PBC Rookie Complex League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old San Francisco (R) shortstop hit .340 with 10 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This season, Berty is swinging the bat at a .279 pace. He has hit 15 home runs and scored 36 times, while driving in 33. His on-base percentage is .402 and he has played in 62 games. |
