St. Louis (R)'s Bill Campos Injured Monday, August 17th , 2020 The season is finished for Bill Campos of the St. Louis (R) Lions. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Lions starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Denver (R) Cutthroats. Team doctors said it would take at least 11 months to heal. In 5 starts this season, Campos has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 1 loss. He has pitched 34.1 innings, allowed 36 hits, struck out 33 and has a 3.15 ERA. |
