Jose Eirado Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, August 4th , 2020 The Chicago (R) Union learned that Jose Eirado is likely to be out for 7 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Toronto (R) Titans. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Chicago (R) manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Jose is back in action." This season, Eirado shows a 3-5 record in 13 games, 54 innings, 60 strikeouts, and a 6.50 ERA. |
