Thunder van Wingerden Sizzles with Cycle Wednesday, July 22nd , 2020 Today at PBC Rookie Development Complex, Diederick van Wingerden tore up Mavericks pitching, but the Thunder still came up empty. Houston (R) whipped them, 20-13, despite his best efforts. The Tampa Bay (R) shortstop hit for the cycle with a 4-for-5 day and collected 5 RBI and scored 3 runs -- but to no avail -- his team lost the game anyway. Diederick van Wingerden walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mo Stewart in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
