Super Swinger -- Lopez Slams 5 Hits Sunday, July 12th , 2020 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Alex Lopez of the Chicago (R) Union had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 20-10 win over the New York City (R) Blues at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 18-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Alex Lopez hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
