Post Clips Union for Cycle Saturday, July 4th , 2020 Washington (R)'s Steve Post accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Post finished 4-for-4 with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored and helped the Warriors knock off the Chicago (R) Union, 13-6, at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Post told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Steve Post hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jorge Rodriguez in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and singled in the 6th. Post has a .301 average and a .370 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 25 hits, 5 home runs and driven in 16 runs. View Boxscore |
